This is a mail, phone, fax, and email auction. Bids by all methods are accepted from the time you receive the catalog or other notice until the closing time of the auction. Bidders are urged to place their bids early.

We will keep bidding for you at 10% above any other bid, up to your limit. For example, if your maximum bid is $5,000, and the present bid is $2,000, we will bid $2,200 for you. If the bid stays at $2,200, you win. If the item gathers bids above that, we will keep bidding for you at 10% above the other bid, up to $5,000. You can check your bids anytime by contacting us. Indicate your maximum bid in the “Max Bid” column of the bid sheet on the last page.

Leave a message if we do not pick up. Please include your name and preferred contact method, along with the lot number, bid amount, and maximum bid (if applicable) for each piece on which you are bidding.

This amount will be added to the winning bid.

It is our policy to allow any bidder who was leading an item on the LAST DAY of our auction the opportunity to “reply bid” on those items if he/she was outbid. This means THERE IS NO NEED to wait until the last moments to submit your bids! Submit your bids early, and if you are outbid on the last day, we will let you know, and give you the chance to raise your bid and win your item – this is NOT eBay!

Once the auction begins we will reply via phone, fax, or email within 48 hours of your bid to confirm receipt and notify you of the status of your bids. During this time, we will not be able to give exact bid status (as the majority of bids will not have been received), but will respond to all information inquiries, and attempt to give estimates on lots when possible.

During the last week of the auction we will be available to take your phone calls, and will return your inquiries within 24 hours. We will be able to give exact high bid status on all lots, as well as more accurate closing estimates at this time.

The last day of the auction is always very busy. If your phone call goes through to our voicemail, please leave a number where you can be immediately contacted. In general, you are more likely to get a fast response through email or fax.

Once the auction ends we will NOT be answering the phone. Please do not call to inquire as to whether you won. You will be notified within 48 hours of auction end regarding all items on which you bid. This notification will include all applicable shipping charges, premiums, and taxes, and will be sent via fax or email unless you have instructed us otherwise.
